3 Air Mail and Sea Mail destinations for Parcels<br />
The Air Mail and Sea Mail services for Parcels are available only to places with a delivery post office.<br />
Malawi does not deliver articles, but notifies the addressee of their arrival. Parcels sent to places not<br />
served by the railway must be watertight.<br />
Import restrictions<br />
Malawi requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm<br />
that the addressee has any necessary permit. Senders should determine import restrictions from<br />
Malawi authorities before posting firearms and firearm parts and seeds.<br />
Special documentation<br />
Commercial goods require an invoice. Patent medicines must be clearly marked with their<br />
composition and dosage.<br />
Prohibitions<br />
In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />
ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Malawi prohibits:<br />
