ECI and EPI – Parcels have delayed delivery to rural destinations, which might be by registered post.<br />

Senders should determine import restrictions from Norwegian authorities before posting:<br />

Gifts<br />

Norway admits gifts duty-free to a value of 1000 kroner. Gifts of spirits, wines, liqueurs and tobacco<br />

are not duty-free.<br />

Small value items<br />

Norway admits articles duty-free if the assessed duty and taxes does not exceed 50 kroner.<br />

Special documentation<br />

Commercial goods require an invoice.<br />

Prohibitions<br />

In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />

ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Norway prohibits products made of or containing<br />

wild oats.
