an import permit and before posting any such item, senders should confirm that the addressee has<br />

Commercial goods require an invoice attached to the outside of the article. Articles that contain<br />

goods not of <strong>Australia</strong>n origin require an invoice endorsed either by a Portuguese consul or by a<br />

Chamber of Commerce.<br />

Prohibitions<br />

In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />

ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Portugal prohibits:<br />

Foodstuffs containing saccharine and similar products.<br />
