�2.3.10 –Express <strong>Post</strong> <strong>International</strong> - Parcels prohibitions<br />

In addition to the items prohibited by the Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong>,<br />

the following items cannot be sent via the EPI - Parcels service:<br />

� Animals<br />

� Currency<br />

� Asbestos<br />

� Firearms, weapons,<br />

� Bees, leeches, silkworms or ammunition (or parts<br />

any other animals or living thereof)<br />

organisms<br />

� Furs<br />

� Biological substances – � Hazardous or combustible<br />

infectious or non-infectious materials (as defined in<br />

� Bullion<br />

IATA regulations)<br />

� Counterfeit or pirated goods � Human remains (including<br />

or material<br />

human ashes)<br />

� Coins<br />

� Ivory<br />

� Jewellery<br />

� Narcotics (illegal)<br />

� Negotiable instruments in<br />

bearer form<br />

� Perfumery products<br />

� Pornography<br />

� Precious Stones which means all valuable natural mineral stone, silica or substances extracted<br />

from the ground, whether in their natural state, or refined, processed, set or treated, and<br />

includes semi-precious stones and any other natural or synthetic mineral, stone, silica or<br />

substance whether in a natural state, cut or uncut, refined, processed, set or treated.<br />

� Property, the carriage of which is prohibited by any law, regulation or statute of any federal, state<br />

or local government of any country to or through which the shipment may be carried.<br />

Some countries prohibit valuable items (see �1.4) in the Express <strong>Post</strong> <strong>International</strong> service. Most<br />

countries have specific additional prohibitions. Refer to Section 6 of this <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong>.<br />

�2.3.11 – Supplementary services<br />

The <strong>International</strong> Extra Cover service is generally available with EPI - Parcels. Senders must comply<br />

with the <strong>International</strong> Extra Cover conditions – see �3.1. Refer to Section 6 of this <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> for<br />

the availability and any limitations to specific countries. This service attracts additional fees.<br />
