Senders should determine import restrictions from Burundi authorities before posting:<br />

Burundi requires an import permit for all commercial goods. Before posting any item, senders<br />

should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit.<br />

Special documentation<br />

Burundi has no current requirements for special documentation.<br />

Prohibitions<br />

In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />

ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Burundi prohibits absinthe, alcohol containing<br />

absinthe and ivory.
