For articles addressed to a Post Office Box, the boxholder is notified of arrival.

3 Packaging
Uruguay permits padded bags as the outer wrapping of articles only if securely sealed in the same
way as for an Extra Cover article.
Import restrictions
Senders should determine import restrictions from Uruguay authorities before posting:

Special documentation
Commercial goods require an inserted invoice with a duplicate copy posted separately to the
addressee. Used clothing requires a Certificate of Disinfection.
Prohibitions
In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide and
ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Uruguay prohibits:
