Import restrictions<br />

Senders should determine import restrictions from Costa Rica authorities before posting weapons<br />

and parts of weapons. All imports exceeding $CIF500 require an entry in the Registrado de Pedido<br />

Confirmado through the Central Bank of Costa Rica.<br />

Special documentation<br />

All commercial goods require an invoice in duplicate.<br />

Used clothing requires a Certificate of Disinfection.<br />

Prohibitions<br />

In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />

ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Costa Rica prohibits:<br />
