Refer to <strong>the</strong> sampl<strong>in</strong>g guidel<strong>in</strong>es supplied with <strong>the</strong> equipment. If more than one<br />

isocyanate is requested, provide a process sample.<br />

The two filters <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> sampl<strong>in</strong>g cassette allow specific analysis of monomer HDI <strong>in</strong><br />

vapour <strong>for</strong>m and <strong>in</strong> aerosol <strong>for</strong>m. The result supplied <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> report is <strong>the</strong> sum of<br />

<strong>the</strong> monomers of IPDI of <strong>the</strong> two fractions. Determ<strong>in</strong>ation of <strong>the</strong> correspond<strong>in</strong>g<br />

oligomers is also done dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> analysis. HDI can be determ<strong>in</strong>ed<br />

simultaneously on <strong>the</strong> same sample. Note that <strong>the</strong> analytical method does not<br />

differentiate IPDI oligomers from HDI oligomers. The sampl<strong>in</strong>g time can be<br />

longer than 15 m<strong>in</strong>utes if <strong>the</strong> IPDI is present <strong>in</strong> vapour <strong>for</strong>m only.<br />
