The sampling train consists of a cassette that will collect the PAHs in particulate
form, followed by a tube that will adsorb the PAHs in vapour form. This tube is
connected directly to the pump by Tygon tubing. After sampling, the samples
must be stored in the freezer protected from light. The tubes and filters must be
shipped together. Ten hydrocarbons are determined simultaneously:
acenaphthene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene,
chrysene, benz(a)anthracene, benzo(e)pyrene et le benzo(a)pyrene.
