To record the point, press [ENT] in the CD field.<br />

The coordinates are stored as a CC record. Line<br />

definition information and Sta, O/S, and dVD<br />

values are stored in comment (CO) records.<br />

Calculating coordinates using intersection functions 50.4<br />

To enter the Intersection menu, press [3] or select Intersection in the Cogo<br />

menu. There are four functions in this menu for calculating coordinates.<br />

Calculating a bearing-bearing intersection<br />

A bearing-bearing intersection is the intersection point of two lines.<br />

1. To calculate a bearing-bearing intersection,<br />

press [1] or select Brng-Brng in the<br />

Intersection menu.<br />

2. Enter the first point name and press [ENT].<br />

Alternatively, to measure directly to the point,<br />

press the MSR softkey.<br />

3. Define the first line by azimuth.<br />
