PT lists and code lists use the same record format. Use the filenames POINT.LST<br />

for a PT list, and CODE.LST for a code list.<br />

Curly brackets { } group items<br />

together under the preceding<br />

line.<br />

For example, Layer 3-1<br />

contains String 3-1-1 and<br />

String 3-1-2.<br />

Layer 3 contains the five<br />

items from Layer 3-1 to<br />

String 3-3.<br />

“String” represents characters<br />

that are displayed on the<br />

screen. “Code” represents<br />

characters that are stored in<br />

the database.<br />
