3. Rotate the tangent screw:<br />

– The final turn of the tangent screw should be in a clockwise directions, to<br />

align the target accurately on the center crosshairs.<br />

Setting the Measurement Mode and Preparing the<br />

Target 2.1<br />

The <strong>NPL</strong>-362/<strong>352</strong>/332 has two measurement<br />

modes: Prism mode (Prism) and Reflectorless<br />

mode (N-Prism). These modes can be changed<br />

at any time by holding down the [MSR1] or [MSR2]<br />

key for one second. For more information, see,<br />

page 60.<br />

Table 2.1 describes how to set the measurement<br />

mode depending on the target you want to measure.<br />
