Adjusting lighting and sound levels 31.2<br />
LCD backlight<br />
To turn the LCD backlight on or off, press the illumination key<br />
backlight level, use the 2-switch window described below.<br />

2-switch window<br />
Use the 2-switch window to adjust lighting and<br />
sound settings for the instrument.<br />
To open the 2-switch window from any screen,<br />
hold down the Illumination key for one second.<br />
To cycle through the settings for a switch, press<br />
the number beside that switch. For example, to<br />
turn the backlight on or off, press [1].<br />
Alternatively, to highlight the switch that you want to set, press [^] or [v]. Then press<br />
[ENT] to cycle through the settings for that switch.<br />
Switch 1 (backlight)<br />
LCD backlight is on.<br />
LCD backlight is off.<br />
Switch 2 (Sound)<br />
Sound is on.<br />
Sound is off.<br />
Contrast adjustment window<br />
When the 2-switch window is open, press []<br />
to display the contrast adjustment window. Then<br />
press [^] or [v] to change the contrast level. The<br />
arrow indicates the current contrast level. To<br />
return to the 2-switch window, press [].<br />
When you have finished changing display light<br />
and sound settings, press [ESC] to close the<br />
2-switch or contrast adjustment window.<br />
