Mojca Kumerdej (1964) filosofka, kulturní
kronikářka, divadelní kritička a spisovatelka.
Na slovinskou literární tradici navázala knihou
Krst nad Triglavom (2001). V její nedávno
vydané knize krátkých povídek Fragma
(2003) ukazuje naprosto původní svět autora,
který přichází ze současné společnosti a
jeho problémy. Téma povídek se pohybuje na
hraně tělesnosti a legalizace nové poznatelné
formy ženského psaní. Fragma je skvělou
knihou s ohledem na formu psaní tak jako
na zajímavost dvojakosti charakterů a dobrodružství
jejich (anti) hrdinů, jejich neobvyklé
prostřednosti a neobvyklé rozdílnosti osudu.
Její krátké povídky byly přeloženy do několika
jazyků.
Mojca Kumerdej (1964) is a philosopher, a cultural
chronicler, a theatre critic and a writer. If she was still
settling accounts with the Slovenian literary tradition and
trying to define her space in Krst nad Triglavom (2001),
her most recent short-story book Fragma (2003) shows
an utterly original world of the author, which derives from
the contemporary society and its problems. The stories
thematically move on the slippery edge of corporality and
attest to a new recognizable feminine writing. Fragma is
an excellent book regarding its writing as well as its interesting
duality of the characters and the adventures of its
(anti)heroes, their unusual mediocrity and unusually different
fates. Her short stories were translated into several
languages and included in two anthologies.
