Rosenberg Moshe

Member of the “Gordon Circle”
Moshe was the manager of Keren Hayesod and commander of the
“Hagana Headquarters” of the Zionist youth movements. Within the
framework of the Jewish Council in Budapest he worked in the
department of country towns (Vidéki-Osztály) to where he sent
emissaries (Efra Agmon, Efra Nadav) in order to help the isolated ghettos
with Aryan documents, money and information. Moshe was a member of
the Relief and Rescue Committee. He got on the train to Bergen-Belsen.
He made aliya via Switzerland. In Israel he was the owner of the
engineering company “Rosenberg & Luriya” in Ramat-Gan.
Rosenberg Saul ‘Sheli”
Born in Kassa (Košice) in 1924
Member of “Bnei Akiva”
In 1944 Saul operated together with Menahem Tzvi Kadari in the
framework of the tiyul. He himself crossed the border and arrived in Eretz
Israel (Palestine) in 1944. He served in the independent Czech army.
Saul resides in the USA.
Rosenberger Raphael
Rosenberger Rezső
Born in Meggyeshegy (Mediaş-Vii), Romania on
14.5.1922 Died in Israel in 1986
Member of “Hanoar Hatzioni”
Raphael was a member of the movement from childhood. He was a
prominent activist in the Zionist underground in Romania and a member
of the central council of “Hanoar Hatzioni”. In the summer of 1944
Raphael operated in Arad, a border town on the Romanian side of the
border where he met and took care of the Jewish refugees who crossed
the border from Hungary. Raphael himself crossed the border into
Hungary many times in order to organize the smuggling of Jews. He
helped the refugees to reach the city so they would not fall into the
