High School. Earned three varsity letters, two in
basketball and track. Served as a team captain
for three sports as a senior. As a junior, named
the top offensive player on the team, while in
basketball, he was chosen Mr. Defense. Triple
jumped 47-6 to capture ninth place at the State
track meet. As a senior, earned All-State firstteam
honors by Associ ated Press, the Seattle
PI, and Washington Prep Report. Was a Seattle
Times Red Chip honoree and named to the
Western 100 (number eight DB) by the Tacoma
News Tribune. Named Washington AAAA
Player of the Year by TNT, as well as to the
paper’s all-league, all-area, and all-state teams.
Won the state 4-A title. Scored 30 touchdowns
and rushed for more than 1,800 yards. On
defense, recorded 48 tackles and eight interceptions.
Majored in communications. Married to
Jessica and has two daughters, Karmyn and
Kimora.
