SEAHAWKS RADIO NETWORK<br />

<strong>Seahawks</strong> Radio can be found on News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM and 710 ESPN Seattle,<br />

the flagship station for the <strong>2010</strong> season. Wall to wall coverage begins each game day<br />

with the “Pregame Huddle” hosted by Dori Monson and joined by former <strong>Seahawks</strong><br />

Paul Moyer, Sam Adkins, Dave Wyman, and Ray Roberts. Steve Raible and Warren<br />

Moon follow with the call of the game, and the broadcast day concludes with a postgame<br />

show featuring interviews with <strong>Seahawks</strong> players and “Hawk Talk” in which fans<br />

“SEAHAWKS HUDDLE”<br />

“<strong>Seahawks</strong> Huddle”, the club’s weekly radio show, can be heard on 710 ESPN<br />

Seattle. Beginning during training camp, the “Huddle” offers an inside look at the<br />

<strong>Seahawks</strong> and the NFL and features <strong>Seahawks</strong> players, coaches and guests from<br />

around the League.<br />

STEVE RAIBLE – PLAY-BY-PLAY<br />

Steve Raible returns for his 29th season in the radio booth, his sixth as the play-byplay<br />

announcer and “Voice of the <strong>Seahawks</strong>” after 22 seasons as the <strong>Seahawks</strong> analyst.<br />

An original member of the <strong>Seahawks</strong>, Raible played wide receiver from 1976-81<br />

and has missed only four games in the franchise’s history, either as a player or broadcaster<br />

after suffering a collapsed lung vs. Oakland in 1981. Steve has also co-authored<br />

the book, “Tales from the <strong>Seahawks</strong> Sideline” with Tacoma News Tribune beat writer,<br />

Mike Sando. Following his football career, Steve joined KIRO-TV where he has won<br />

five local Emmy Awards including two for “Best Anchor”. He currently anchors KIRO-7<br />

Eyewitness News at 5:00, 6:00 and 11:00.<br />

One of the Northwest’s favorite masters of ceremonies, Steve has twice been honored<br />

with the United Way Community Service Award and was named Out stand ing<br />

Role Model of 2000 by Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He was also recently honored by<br />

Governor Christine Gregoire proclaiming May 4, 2005 as Steve Raible Day in honor of<br />

his community activities. He was also a 2001 recipient of the prestigious NCAA Silver<br />

Anniversary Award along with former <strong>Seahawks</strong> teammate, Steve Largent.<br />

A graduate of Georgia Tech and a member of the school’s athletic Hall of Fame, Steve<br />

lives in Seattle with his wife, Sharon.<br />

WARREN MOON – ANALYST<br />

Hall of Fame quarterback, Warren Moon, returns to the <strong>Seahawks</strong> radio team for<br />

his seventh season after serving as the preseason television analyst for the previous<br />

two seasons. After finishing a playing career in which he was nominated to an NFL<br />

record eight straight Pro Bowls (1988-95), adding a ninth overall in 1997, Moon has<br />

become one of football’s leading broadcast analysts. He has spent recent years as a<br />

Westwood One radio analyst and sideline reporter and also spent time in the booth<br />

during Fox Sports Net’s Pac-10 College Game of the Week.<br />

The 17-year NFL veteran played for the <strong>Seahawks</strong> from 1997-98, setting the franchise<br />

record for passing yards in one season with 3,678 in 1997, surpassed by Matt<br />

Hasselbeck in the 2003 season. He also ranks in the top-three of 11 categories all-time<br />

in the NFL record books, including most career passing yards (third with 49,325), most<br />

career completions (third with 3,988), most yards passing in a single game (second<br />

with 527) and most career 400+ passing games (tied for second with seven).<br />

Named the NFL’s Man of the Year in 1989 for his work in the community, Warren<br />

established the Crescent Moon Foundation in 1989 to raise money for college academic<br />

scholarships in Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, and Minneapolis/St. Paul. He<br />

remains active in charity work. Warren has worked as an ambassador for the NFL promoting<br />

the game of football both nationally and internationally to young people.
