Communities in Schools “Stuff the Bus”
For the past four seasons, Seahawks fans have participated in the Communities in Schools
“Stuff the Bus” program. Last season, fans participated in the “Stuff the Bus” program before
the Sea hawks preseason game against the Oakland Raiders on September 3. Two school
buses were parked in front of the Qwest Field Event Center for fans to drop off school supplies.
Fans filled the bus with supplies and cash donations. The promotion benefited students in the
Seattle and Tacoma area.
Pacific Rim Relief Effort
Following the devastation in the Pacific Rim and moved by Seahawks linebacker Lofa
Tatupu’s $10,000 donation, the Seahawks partnered with locally based Medical Teams
International to collect funds for the Pacific Rim region prior to the October 11 game vs. the
Jacksonville Jaguars. Lofa’s donation was also matched by another Seahawks player.
Seahawks fans donated $12,000.
The Paul G. Allen Family
Foundation matched the
donations by the
Seahawks fans and
players for a grand total
of $64,000. Seahawks
alumni Manu Tuiasosopo
and his family helped
collect funds at
