Gatorade Jr. Training Camps
The Seahawks have made a commitment
to the athletic improvement and life skills development
of the youth of the Pacific Northwest
by holding football camps at a number of locations
throughout the region. During the summer
months the Seahawks and Gatorade team
up to host the Seahawks Gato rade Junior
Training Camps. These three-hour camps are
free to all boys and girls ages 8-14 and feature
Seahawks players and area high school coaches
who teach basic football skills to all participants.
Seahawks Gatorade Junior Training
Camps are held in Seattle and various cities in
Central and Eastern Washington.

Seahawks 12K
The Seattle Seahawks, The Landing and
the City of Renton held the first-ever
“Seahawks 12K Run at The Landing.” The
Seahawks 12K took place on April 11, 2010,
and included a 12K run, a 5K run/walk, a noncompetitive
half-mile Kids Run and a Block
Party with free games, activities and entertainment.
The event raised $5,000 for the Renton
Skyway Boys and Girls Club.
The Seahawks teamed up with the
C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation to host the fourth
Annual Seahawks Fish and Feast Charity
Fundraiser on May 16, 2010, at the Virginia
Mason Athletic Center on Lake Washington.
Twenty local disabled or disadvantaged children
received a once in a lifetime experience
on a guided fishing trip with a Seahawk player,
coach, or Sea Gal. Famous Dave’s BBQ provided
lunch, while the Seahawks’ mascot,
Blitz, and Blue Thunder made special appearances.
All proceeds from this event benefit the
C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, to provide recreational
fishing opportunities for disabled and
disadvantaged children. The event raised
more than $20,000, and over $65,000 in total
funds since 2007.
