Mitch Erickson, G, 6-4, 290, 1st Year, South Dakota St. (Hutchinson, Minn.)<br />
Signed by Seattle on April 16, <strong>2010</strong>, as a free agent. Originally signed as an undrafted rookie free<br />
agent by the Denver Broncos on April 28, 2008. Erickson started all 44 of South<br />
Dakota State’s games at either guard or tackle during his Jackrabbit career from<br />
2004-07. Selected as an All-American by The Associated Press, American<br />
Football Coaches Association and College Sporting News following his senior<br />
season. Erickson was part of an offensive unit that averaged 34.2 points per<br />
game and allowed only 12 sacks during the 2007 campaign. Prepped at<br />
Hutchinson High where he earned all-state and all-Metro honors as a senior<br />
and was a two-year all-Misota Conference selection. A two-year letterman in<br />
track, he set the school record in the discus. Majored in mechanical engineering.<br />

Ricky Foley, DE, 6-2, 252, 1st Year, York (Toronto, Ontario)<br />
Signed as a free agent by Seattle on February 23, <strong>2010</strong>. Foley played at York University in Toronto<br />
and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2006 as an undrafted rookie free<br />
agent but was released before training camp. He was a first-round draft choice<br />
by the B.C. Lions in 2006, and was a situational pass-rusher and special teams<br />
player his first three years. He posted four sacks and 12 tackles in 2007, along<br />
with 21 special teams tackles; seven tackles and four sacks in 2008, along with<br />
15 special teams tackles. In 2009, he led the CFL with 12 sacks and also had 51<br />
tackles in being named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian. Born on April 2,<br />
1981.<br />
Kole Heckendorf, WR, 6-2, 191, 2nd Year, North Dakota St. (Wausau, Wis.)<br />
Claimed off of waivers (Detroit) on May 12, <strong>2010</strong>. Originally signed with the Green Bay Packers<br />
on May 1, 2009, out of North Dakota State, but was released after training<br />
camp. He spent the 2009 season on the Detroit Lions practice squad. Started<br />
42 of 43 career games at North Dakota State and finished as the all-time leading<br />
receiver in school history. Totaled 178 catches for 2,732 yards and 17 touchdowns<br />
in his career, and was the first receiver to lead the school in catches for<br />
four consecutive seasons. Prepped at Mosinee High and was an AP first-team<br />
all-state selection after 63 catches for 1,257 yards and a state-record 19 touchdowns<br />
as a senior. Led the nation and set a state-record with 116 receptions as<br />
a junior. Also lettered in hockey and track. Majored in general education. Born<br />
on November 20, 1985.<br />
Robert Henderson, DE, 6-3, 275, 3rd Year, Southern Miss (Ponchatoula, La.)<br />
Acquired in a trade with Detroit on April 5, <strong>2010</strong>. Henderson was the New York Giants sixthround<br />
draft pick (199th overall) from Southern Mississippi in the 2008 NFL Draft<br />
and spent the season on injured reserve. He was signed to the Jaguars practice<br />
squad September 15, 2009, but was released. Signed with Detroit on<br />
October 13, 2009, as a free agent, where he spent 11 games on the Lions practice<br />
squad. Three-year starter at Southern Mississippi, finishing with 173 tackles<br />
(115 solo), 13.5 sacks and 29.5 tackles for loss. During his career, he also<br />
forced seven fumbles and recovered another, and deflected nine passes. Threeyear<br />
letterwinner for Coach Scott Martin at Ponchatoula High School. Majored<br />
in recreation administration. Born on November 9, 1983.<br />
Anthony Heygood, LB, 6-1, 232, 2nd Year, Purdue (Chester, Pa.)<br />
Signed to Seattle’s practice squad on October 28, 2009. Originally signed as an undrafted rookie<br />
free agent by Carolina in April 2009. Started 24 of 49 career games and tallied<br />
208 career stops. Came to Purdue as a running back and made the switch<br />
to defense his sophomore season. Named Purdue’s most valuable player as a<br />
senior, after leading the team with 114 tackles (65 solo) and one interception.<br />
Prepped at Cardinal O’Hara High. Majored in health & fitness. Born on April 3,<br />
1986.<br />
