Signed by Seattle as a free agent on June 24, <strong>2010</strong>, Lewis was originally drafted by the Arizona<br />

Cardinals in the sixth-round (177th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has also<br />

spent time with Oakland (practice squad-2007), Seattle (spring-2008), Detroit<br />

(spring-2008, Jacksonville (injured reserve-2008) and Cleveland (practice<br />

squad-2009), before re-joining Seattle on a tryout basis in June's minicamp. He<br />

played in four games his rookie season and collected four solo tackles.<br />

Appeared in 53 games with 42 starts, collecting 203 tackles and 15.5 sacks during<br />

his career at Virginia Tech. Was named All-ACC second-team after his senior<br />

season, after he recorded 38 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Prepped at Varina High<br />

and was the only player in school history to earn all-metro, all-region and allstate<br />

honors three years in a row. Tallied over 300 career tackles and 46 sacks, leading the team<br />

to a 46-7 record and three regional championships, during his high school career. Also played<br />

basketball. Majored in apparel, housing & resource management. Born on July 12, 1984.<br />

Adrian Martinez, C, 6-3, 308, Rookie, Colorado State (San Clemente,<br />

Calif.)<br />

Signed with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 24, <strong>2010</strong>. A four-year starter, starting<br />

46 of 47 career games. A three-year starter at right guard and one at right<br />

tackle. An all-star two-way performer as an offensive and defensive lineman at<br />

San Clemente High School and a first-team all-conference selection, earned<br />

three varsity letter awards in football and three more in wrestling. Finished<br />

fifth in the CIF wrestling championships as a junior. Named to all-state football<br />

team as a senior in 2004. As a senior, was named the conference lineman of<br />

the year. Majored in restaurant and resort management. Born on November 4,<br />

1987.<br />

Marcus Maxwell, WR, 6-3, 210, 6th Year, Oregon (Hercules, Calif.)<br />

Signed with Seattle on May 18, <strong>2010</strong>, as a free agent. Originally drafted in the seventh-round<br />

(223rd overall) by the San Francisco 49ers out of Oregon in the 2005 NFL Draft<br />

and played in four games his rookie year. Maxwell spent the spring of 2006 in<br />

NFL Europa and the NFL season on the practice squad but was then released<br />

and signed with Cincinnati, playing in five games with one catch for five yards<br />

in 2007. He ended the 2008 and 2009 seasons on injured reserve with Baltimore<br />

and Tampa Bay, respectively. Played two seasons at Oregon after transferring<br />

from Diablo Valley JC, recording 36 catches for 401 yards and two scores in 18<br />

games as a Duck. Attended Pinole Valley High and had 42 catches for 886 yards<br />

and 13 touchdowns as a senior. Majored in sociology. Born on July 8, 1983.<br />

Barrett Moen, DT, 6-4, 282, Rookie, Minnesota (Bloomington, Minn.)<br />

Signed by Seattle on June 9, <strong>2010</strong>. Walked-on and played three seasons at Minnesota, making<br />

the switch from guard to defensive tackle his sophomore season. Played in 36 career games<br />

with 13 starts coming his senior season and collected 33 tackles and 2.0 sacks<br />

for his career. Prepped at Jefferson High and also competed in hockey, baseball<br />

and track & field. Uncle, Matt Herkenhoff, played for the Gophers in the<br />

early 1970s and spent 10 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. Majored in electrical<br />

engineering. Born on August 11, 1987.<br />

Matt Overton, LS, 6-0, 254, 1st Year, Western Washington<br />

(Tracy, Calif.)<br />

Signed by Seattle as a free agent on April 28, <strong>2010</strong>. Overton went to Western Washington<br />

University and was with the <strong>Seahawks</strong> during training camp in 2007. He played<br />

for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League in 2009 and also spent<br />

two seasons with the Tri-Cities Fever of the Indoor Football League. Born on<br />

July 6, 1985.<br />
