COLLEGE: RS SENIOR: Started all
12 games and posted 21
receptions for 298 yards
with two scores. SEN-
IOR: Was redshirted after
injuring his ankle in
the season-opener against
Boston College Aug. 30. Made a
pair of grabs for 12 yards before
suffering the injury. JUNIOR:
Appeared in all 12 games, starting
nine. Helped lead a defense that was
third overall in the MAC. Registered
43 tackles (22 solo) as well as five
pass breakups from his linebacker
position. Recorded 3.5 TFL and 2.0 sacks
for a loss of 16 yards. SOPHOMORE:
Started every game but one at outside linebacker.
Collected 34 tackles (19 solo). FRESH-
MAN: Played in all 11 games and made one
start as a true freshman. Totaled 13 tackles (eight
solo) and had a season-high five tackles against
Southeast Missouri State on Sept. 10.
PERSONAL: Attended Lake High School (Ohio).
Was an All-Federal League and honorable mention
All-Northeast Inland District performer.
Played both offense and defense for the Blue
Streaks. Scored eight career touchdowns, catching
28 passes as a junior and 14 as a senior for
a total of 671 yards. Born July 2, 1986. Parents
are Edward and Barbara Konz.
