touchdowns in a season (2), interception touchdowns

• Last season, returned two interceptions for
touchdowns. A 61-yard return vs Detroit (11/8)
and a 65-yarder at St. Louis (11/29) to tie the
game with 1:38 remaining in the first half.
• Set club single season records in 2008 for
most kickoff returns with 69 (66 - Charlie Rogers
in 2000) and yards with 1,753 (1,629 - Charlie
Rogers in 2000).

The interception thwarted a 49ers fourth-down
attempt with :44 seconds remaining in the first

COLLEGE: One of the fastest players to ever
don a Terrapins’ uniform, he was an avid “workout
warrior,” having won Iron Terp honors in
2005. Excelled in the classroom and was the
recipient of the James Tatum Award, given to
the top football student-athlete in the Atlantic
Coast Conference. Was also a two-time Aca -
demic All-ACC choice. The two-year starter at
the boundary cornerback position, Wilson
appeared in 46 of a possible 48 games at Mary -
land, starting 28 times. Despite not handling
kickoff return duties until his final season, he
ranks eighth on the school’s career record list
