Ludlow Castle Hall<br />

Ludlow Castle Hall was the training venue for Wrestling<br />

and is a multi-purpose sport venue in the legacy mode. It is a<br />

centrally air-conditioned building with athletes’ lounge, change<br />

rooms, sport equipment room, medical & physiotherapy,<br />

fitness/gym, cafeteria, conference room, etc., on the ground<br />

floor, maple wood sports flooring to accommodate six<br />

wrestling mats (12 x 12 m each) on the first floor, a two<br />

storeyed service block with water tanks, pump room, AHUs,<br />

LT/HT panels, air-conditioning plant, etc., and an electricity<br />

sub-station.<br />

Chhatrasal Stadium<br />

Seating Capacity: 11,000<br />

The Chhatrasal Stadium was the training venue for Athletics.<br />

It has an IAAF approved 400 x 8 m synthetic track, parking<br />

for 464 cars (basement – 212, surface – 252), new centrally<br />

air-conditioned athletic and administration block. The ground<br />

floor (Plaza Level) has an athletes’ team lounge, cafeteria,<br />

physiotherapy, medical room, security, event manager’s room,<br />

store, etc.<br />

The first floor has the athletes’ lounge, VIP lounge,<br />

conference room, VIP atrium (300 seats), technical observer’s<br />

room, etc. The roof is colour coated double skin insulated<br />

roof of galvalume ( zinc-aluminium alloy) stainless steel railing/<br />

chain link fencing and flood lighting of 500 lux.<br />
