Executive Management: The Executive Management<br />
was a four-member committee that functioned as the<br />
main executive arm of the EB. The Executive Management<br />
was in charge of finalising all Functional Area (FA) planning<br />
and budgets and interfaced between the EB and various<br />
Sub-committees. Staffed by the Chairman, Vice Chairman,<br />
Secretary General and Treasurer, the Executive Management<br />
was responsible for all high-level day-to-day decisions.<br />
Sub-committees: The 23 sub-committees in the OC<br />
CWG Delhi 2010 advised the Executive Management on the<br />
functioning and planning of every FA and coordinated with<br />
the delivery partners.<br />
OC CWG Delhi 2010 Secretariat: The Secretariat<br />
was the body in charge of executing the plans laid down for<br />
Delhi 2010. It comprised the CEO, Director General, Special<br />
Director General, Joint Director Generals and all Functional<br />
Area (FA) Heads and the paid staff of the OC CWG Delhi<br />
2010, initially. When reports of delays made headlines in<br />
September-October 2009, GoI inducted five senior civil<br />
servants into the OC CWG Delhi 2010’s management in<br />
November 2009, including a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).<br />
