The competition for each of the 17 sports and four<br />
Para-sports was handled by the following:<br />
• Technical Delegate<br />
• Competition Manager<br />
• Deputy Competition Manager<br />
• Manager (Sport Operations)<br />
The smooth conduct of each competition was<br />
considerably enhanced by contributions from: 25<br />
Technical Delegates appointed by the respective IFs;<br />
ITOs nominated by the IFs for the respective sport<br />
in consultation with the Technical Delegates; NTOs<br />
nominated by the National <strong>Federation</strong>s (NFs) for the<br />
respective sports in consultation with the Technical<br />
Delegates; and over 3,500 SSVs who played an important<br />
role for the successful conduct of the various 17 sporting<br />
events for the XIX <strong>Commonwealth</strong> <strong>Games</strong> Delhi 2010.<br />
In addition, the Sport Information Centre (SIC) was<br />
operational from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm at the <strong>Games</strong><br />
Village and Sport Information Desks functioned at each<br />
competition venue.<br />
