Teen Mother-Baby Program – Erin McNamara, Social Services Director<br />
Residential program with support services for pregnant teens (13-19) and/or young<br />
mothers (15-19) with one child under 2 years. 24-hour nursing care, temporary cash<br />
assistance, prenatal clinic, childbirth classes, labor and delivery (Providence Hospital),<br />
postpartum follow-up. Applicants considered based on need.<br />

Transitional housing and SRO’s for recovering substance abusers. Entering residents<br />
either show 60 days clean or transition through a six-month structural program where<br />
they receive drug education and counseling. Must: attend AA/NA meetings daily,<br />
learn job retention and life skills. Residents next graduate to independent living<br />
programs (SRO’s) where they continue to receive case management support. Must<br />

24 hour staffed facilities. Residents must attend group counseling sessions and abide by<br />
strict house rules. Residents cook their own food, private baths. Activity in common<br />

Co-ed supervised apartment living (18-21 yrs) whose family problems cause<br />
homelessness. Residents live in Sasha Bruce managed apartment for up to12 months<br />
while receiving counseling, case management and life skills training. Residents must<br />
be enrolled in school or work and save a portion of their income. Accepts selfreferrals<br />
or social service referrals.<br />

financial literacy counseling, parenting classes, must contribute percentage of income<br />
