Constituent Services Fund<br />

Each DC City Council Member maintains a Constituent Services Fund. Each council<br />

member is allowed to raise $80,000 per year toward the fund. The fund can be used to<br />

support any activity or program which provides charitable, scientific, educational,<br />

medical, recreational services for DC residents, also to help residents pay utility bills,<br />

purchase groceries, pay back rent or mortgages, support scholarship funds for<br />

students.<br />

To apply for a Constituent Services Fund award, contact the office of the respective<br />

councilmember serving the Ward where they reside. Each resident has five<br />

councilmembers they can petition for funds, one serving the single ward and four<br />

Provides income eligible families (MD, VA, DC) with a refurbished computer ($25 or<br />

lower), plus supporting equipment, (PC monitor, mouse and keyboard) at additional<br />

low cost. Each computer includes Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. Referrals<br />

only accepted from pre-approved Project Reboot agents. ORD is an approved referring<br />

agent. Limit 3 computers per family. Pickup computers on (Mon 1pm to 5pm, Wed<br />

10am to 4pm). Must have signed referral form and cash to purchase equipment.<br />

SafeLink enrollment agents frequent the ESA office at 645 H Street, NE to enroll new<br />

users. Must show proof of income before receiving service.<br />
