training, on-site GED, ESL and tutoring, college enrollment and financial aid<br />

Nursing care, medical testing, and support services to adult victims of rape, sexual<br />

assault and other sex crimes. Within 96 hours (4 days) of the assault, victim should go<br />

to SANE Program at Washington Hospital Center (WHC). Emergency room for<br />

medical services, testing and referrals. Survivors are offered HIV testing at WHC. If<br />

not HIV positive, survivors are eligible to take HIV prophylaxis (post-exposure)<br />

medication for 28 days to reduce chances of contracting HIV as a result of the assault.<br />
