Alexandria Seaport Foundation (ASF) staff and volunteers support participants as<br />

they obtain drivers' licenses and civil documents, open bank accounts, stay on track<br />

with court requirements and take other measures to improve their ability to secure<br />

and maintain employment. The program is operated year round from 2 Duke Street,<br />

Alexandria, VA 22314. The program hours are 9 am - 4 pm Monday through<br />

Computer training for unemployed and underemployed DC area residents in order<br />

to increase their skill sets and marketability. Job and internship placements with<br />

one year course completion follow-up support. Level I courses: keyboarding,<br />

Windows, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Cost $50. for 6 weekly sessions,<br />

90 minutes per session. Level II courses: HTML, JAVA, $100 for 6 weekly<br />

sessions, 90 min sessions.<br />
