In the case of moving a belt 100 µm per one pulse, whose speed<br />

reduction ratio is 5 and the number of pulses of the encoder is 2048,<br />

the numerator of the electronic gear is 10240, and the denominator is<br />

calculated by the following method.<br />

Denominator = Movement distance of the load per revolution/Distance to<br />

move by one pulse<br />

If the diameter of the pulley on the load side is 50 mm and the distance<br />

to move by one pulse of the controller is 100 µm, the denominator is<br />

1570.<br />

50 π mm/100 µm = 1570<br />

In this case, if 1570 pulses are approved by the controller, the pulley at<br />

the end devices makes one revolution and the straight moving<br />

distance of the end load is 100 µm.<br />

In case of rotating a turntable 0.1° per pulse, whose speed reduction<br />

ratio is 3 and the number of pulses of the encoder is 2048, the<br />

numerator of the electronic gear is 6144 and the denominator can be<br />

calculated by the following method.<br />

Denominator = Movement angle of the load per revolution/Angle to move<br />

with one pulse<br />
