networks, operational systems, statistics, econometrics,
management.
System perspectives in WULS
Before SMS-B system introduction, an analysis of possibility
of system using to different subjects on different faculties of
Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS) was provided.
The subjects were divided to three categories:
• A Category contains subjects dedicated to SMS-B using;
• B Category contains subjects, which may be supported by
SMS-B using;
• C Category contains facultative subjects, which may be an
additional significant area of SMS-B using.
Because the conception for SMS-B system was dedicated
to economic and computer faculties in the table possibilities of
system using to provide of three categories of subjects are
presented for six faculties on Faculty of Economic Sciences
and on Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics according
to study programs for 2007/08 academic year.

In calculations some assumptions were accepted. On economic
faculties (Economy, Finances and Accounting, Logistics,
Management) there are 8 exercises groups in first level
studies and 4 exercises groups in second level studies. On
computer faculties (Informatics, Informatic and Econometrics)
there are 4 exercises groups in both study levels.
Summary
The keynote of projecting and introduction of SMS-B system
was an absorption of modern ICT technologies to preparation
of Business Intelligence educational platform. Rapid evolution
of integrated information systems and data warehouses,
which are a fundament of modern solutions used in commercial
institutions is a reason to project SMS-B system in open
architecture, which is vulnerable for new technologies and
new areas of functionality introductions.
This system offers a wide range of possibilities of professional
teaching in form maximally close to real work environment.
Moreover there, system can be interesting as a alternative
to traditional ways of teaching subjects in Informatics,
Statistics, Econometrics, Finances and Management domains.
Presented in the paper assessments of didactic hours
in study programs in WULS indicate to potentially high possibilities
of SMS-B using in educational pathways.
However, main objective of system is beeing the solution,
which enables to project and introduce educational pathways
dedicated to teaching of professional ICT and analysis specialists
for modern electronic commerce. One of the most important
assumption is that these dedicated pathways will be audited
by main providers of ICT solutions for commercial institutions.
