• Leadership development
Our leadership programme
will focus on creating a single,
cohesive leadership team. Our
leaders will embody and evidence
our agreed values and principles.
They will share our vision and
work together to deliver a
single corporate plan. They will
aspire to achieve the 'art of the
possible' for patients and staff.
They will demonstrate ownership
and accountability, engaging,
inspiring and motivating those
around them. They will work
collaboratively with internal
and external stakeholders and
peers, devolving decision making
and encouraging continuous
improvement. They will celebrate
success, and effectively manage
non-delivery. We are currently
developing core standards for all
RD&E managers at every level and
will be rolling these out during
2013/14
• Management system
development
Work is underway to develop
standard operating procedures
that will be relevant throughout
the Trust so that we bring a
consistent, coherent and
well-managed approach to
our work.
Transforming what we do and how we
do it, both within the hospital and with
our external stakeholders, will present
us with challenges over the coming
years. Our aim, in all that we do, is to
ensure that we keep patients safe and
provide the best possible quality of
care. This will remain the key driver in
everything we do.
