vein surgery are low
due to the small
number of procedures
undertaken within the
Trust. It is not possible
to correlate the figures
for groin hernia surgery
and hip replacement
surgery during Apr-12
to Sep-12 against the
previous 2 year period
due to the fact that
it is for a 6 month
period only. The data
for knee replacement
surgery requires further
investigation due to
the fact that the Trust
has submitted 256
proformas during the
time period, which
appear not to be
showing.

appropriate.

indicator will be managed
through the patient
pathway improvement
programme which reports
to the Transformation
Programme Board.
