Analysis<br />
Quarter 1<br />
Two of the Monitor targets were<br />
not met for Quarter 1 resulting<br />
in Monitor giving an amber-red<br />
governance rating.<br />
• Non-achievement of the Maximum<br />
time of 18 weeks from point of<br />
referral to treatment in aggregate<br />
for admitted patients target was<br />
reported. The Trust’s position<br />
against the target of 90% was<br />
86.7%, 85.5% <strong>and</strong> 84.4% for<br />
April, May <strong>and</strong> June respectively.<br />
• Non-achievement of the Maximum<br />
time of 18 weeks from point of<br />
referral to treatment in aggregate<br />
for patients on incomplete<br />
pathways target was reported.<br />
The Trust’s position against the<br />
target of 92% was 86.1%, 88.8%<br />
<strong>and</strong> 92.8% for April, May <strong>and</strong><br />
June respectively.<br />
Quarter 2<br />
One of the Monitor targets was<br />
not met for Quarter 2 resulting<br />
in Monitor giving an amber-red<br />
governance rating.<br />
• Non-achievement of the Maximum<br />
time of 18 weeks from point of<br />
referral to treatment in aggregate<br />
for admitted patients target was<br />
reported. The Trust’s position<br />
against the target of 90% was<br />
86.0%, 87.4% <strong>and</strong> 88.2% for<br />
July, August <strong>and</strong> September<br />
respectively.<br />
Quarter 3<br />
Two of the Monitor targets were<br />
not met for Quarter 3 resulting<br />
in Monitor giving an amber-red<br />
governance rating.<br />
• Non-achievement of the Maximum<br />
time of 18 weeks from point of<br />
referral to treatment in aggregate<br />
for admitted patients target was<br />
reported. The Trust’s position<br />
against the target of 90% was<br />
89.9%, 90.1% <strong>and</strong> 91.7% for<br />
October, November <strong>and</strong> December<br />
respectively. As this target is<br />
assessed on a monthly basis the<br />
non-achievement of the target in<br />
October means the target was not<br />
met for the quarter.<br />
• Non-achievement of the Cancer<br />
62 Day Waits for first treatment<br />
(urgent GP referral for suspected<br />
cancer) was reported. The Trust’s<br />
position against the target of 85%<br />
was 83.6% for the quarter.<br />
Quarter 4<br />
Four of the Monitor indicators<br />
assessed on a quarterly basis were<br />
not met for Quarter 4.<br />
• All cancers: 31-day wait for second<br />
or subsequent surgical treatment.<br />
The position for the quarter was<br />
85.3% against a target of 94%.<br />
• All cancers: 62-day wait for first<br />
treatment from urgent GP referral<br />
to treatment. The position for<br />
the quarter was 80.3% against a<br />
target of 85%.<br />
• All cancers: 31-day wait from<br />
diagnosis to first treatment. The<br />
position for the quarter was<br />
94.4% against a target of 96%.<br />
• All cancers: 14-day wait from<br />
referral to date first seen for all<br />
cancers. The position for the<br />
quarter was 92.8% against a<br />
target of 93%.<br />
