Description
Execution command writes phonebook entry in location number in the current phonebook memory storage
selected with +CPBS. Entry fields written are phone number (in the format ), text
associated with the number, if the selected phonebook supports hidden entries, parameter, which indicates if
the entry is hidden or not, indicating a group the entry may belong to, an additional
number (of format ), a second text field associated with the number, an
email field, SIP number and TEL number. If all those fields are omitted, the phonebook
entry is deleted. If is left out, but is given, the entry is written to the first free location in the
given, the intermediate result code +CPBW: may be provded to indicate the location the entry
was written to. If writing fails in an MT error, +CME ERROR: is returned. Refer subclause 9.2 for
values.
Read command returns the last value, or -1 if information about previous value is not available.
NOTE:
Changing the current phonebook memory storage with +CPBS to another storage invalidates the last
value.
Test command returns location range supported by the current storage as a compound value, the maximum length of
field, supported number formats of the storage, the maximum length of field, the maximum
length of , the maximum length of , the maximum length of , the maximum
length of and the maximum length of . In case of SIM storage, the lengths may not be
available. If MT is not currently reachable, +CME ERROR: is returned. Refer subclause 9.2 for values.
If storage does not offer format information, the format list should be empty parenthesis
