7.4.3. Replacing Level Cage or Level Cage Belt<br />
This procedure to remove and replace Level Cage Assembly (P/N 122208-1) includes step to replace<br />
& tension the level cage belt. If you are only replacing the level cage belt, jump to step 9.<br />
Tools Required:<br />
• ½” Nut driver or Wrench<br />
• #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver<br />
• 2 mm Flat Blade Screwdriver<br />
NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, all nuts and bolts should be<br />
assembled with Loctite 222 or its equivalent.<br />
1. Using 2mm flat blade<br />
Screwdriver loosen screws<br />
securing D-Sub Connector to<br />
Level Cage Assembly.<br />
2. Using a #1 Phillips Screwdriver,<br />
loosen the four 4/40 screws<br />
attaching Level Cage Stepper<br />
Motor to El Pan.<br />
3. Slide sprocket assembly<br />
towards reflector and remove<br />
belt from Level Cage Stepper<br />
Motor sprocket.<br />
