Troubleshooting and Maintenance<br />

<strong>Series</strong> <strong>04</strong> <strong>Ku</strong>-<strong>Band</strong> <strong>TVRO</strong> <strong>Antenna</strong><br />

2. Using a 5/32” Allen Wrench,<br />

remove the four Allen Head<br />

screws attaching elevation<br />

motor bracket to CL beam and<br />

remove motor assembly.<br />

3. Observe cable orientation in<br />

reference to bracket and then<br />

remove Motor from bracket.<br />

4. Using a 9/64” Allen Wrench,<br />

remove the four Allen Head<br />

screws attaching motor to<br />

bracket. Remove save hardware<br />

for future use.<br />

5. Install replacement motor, and<br />

cable, onto the bracket (with<br />

cable in the same orientation<br />

observed in step 3) using the<br />

hardware removed in step 3. Do<br />

not tighten at this time.<br />

6. Re-install bracket onto CL beam<br />

using two of the Allen head<br />

screws removed in step 2, do<br />

not fully tighten.<br />

7. Place belt around elevation<br />

driven sprocket and then<br />

elevation motor sprocket.<br />

8. Install the other two allen head<br />

screws and Secure motor<br />

bracket onto CL Beam using<br />

Loctite 222 on all four screws.<br />
