10. Rotate <strong>Antenna</strong> from CCW stop<br />

to CW stop while observing belt.<br />

Check to see the belt does not<br />

rub against motor mounting<br />

hardware and that the belt<br />

remains level with both<br />

sprockets.<br />

7.4.8. Replacing Elevation Drive Motor<br />

The following procedure for replacing Elevation belt with the factory installed spare belt on CL<br />

beam.<br />

Tools Required:<br />

• 9/64” Allen Head Wrench<br />

• 5/32” Allen Head Wrench<br />

• Snips / Flush Cutters<br />

• 2 mm Flat Blade Screwdriver<br />

• Loctite 222 or equiv.<br />

NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, all nuts and bolts should be<br />

assembled with Loctite 222 or its equivalent.<br />

1. Using 2mm Flat Blade<br />

Screwdriver, loosen two<br />

retaining screws on EL Motor<br />

harness and remove it from AZ<br />

post.<br />
