Disseminate project results <strong>and</strong> resource material across the higher<br />

educational sector nationally <strong>and</strong> internationally<br />

1.5 Intended Project Outcomes<br />

The intended project outcomes included the design of a distributed <strong>leadership</strong><br />

framework in the use of <strong>student</strong> <strong>feedback</strong> to improve teaching <strong>and</strong> learning<br />

that would include multi-level approaches <strong>and</strong> a plan, strategies <strong>and</strong> resources<br />

to effect change management. Specifically, the intended outcomes were:<br />

––<br />

A distributed <strong>leadership</strong> framework in the use of <strong>student</strong> <strong>feedback</strong><br />

to improve teaching <strong>and</strong> learning including:<br />

––<br />

increased capabilities to provide academic <strong>leadership</strong> in using<br />

<strong>student</strong> <strong>feedback</strong> to enhance learning <strong>and</strong> teaching;<br />

––<br />

case studies of <strong>leadership</strong> qualities developed <strong>and</strong> required<br />

by various roles <strong>and</strong> responsibilities such as PVCs, Heads<br />

of Schools, Program Leaders <strong>and</strong> program team;<br />

––<br />

critical analysis of success factors <strong>and</strong> barriers to effective<br />

<strong>leadership</strong> development;<br />

––<br />

approaches to building <strong>leadership</strong> capacity in a sustainable<br />

way from ‘ground up’ instead of just ‘top down’.<br />

––<br />

Multi-level approaches <strong>and</strong> strategies to effect change management<br />

including:<br />

––<br />

exemplars <strong>and</strong> case studies in cultural change including institutional<br />

<strong>and</strong> local approaches to fostering <strong>and</strong> embedding <strong>leadership</strong><br />

practices <strong>and</strong> policies;<br />

––<br />

<strong>leadership</strong> in curricula improvement strategies <strong>for</strong> assessment of<br />

learning practices, teaching large classes <strong>and</strong> teaching capabilities;<br />

– – strategies <strong>for</strong> effectively in<strong>for</strong>ming university’s academic plan<br />

<strong>and</strong> learning <strong>and</strong> teaching strategy.<br />
