a framework in which systems are established to encourage consultation<br />
between all stakeholders (academics <strong>and</strong> <strong>student</strong>s) both centrally <strong>and</strong><br />
in distributed levels that would enable a broader range of <strong>student</strong> <strong>feedback</strong><br />
to be possible <strong>and</strong> in which <strong>student</strong>s are provided with more contextual<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation on which to make their <strong>feedback</strong> more meaningful.<br />
A further interesting challenge that emerged in this phase, although it had been<br />
commented upon earlier at Facilitator <strong>and</strong> ART Leaders meetings, was the<br />
effect of the high turnover of senior staff. During the two-year life of this project,<br />
all 3 PVC (Academic) were new, <strong>and</strong> only 1 of 3 of the College-based Directors<br />
of Academic Development remained in their position <strong>for</strong> the full 2 years.<br />
