ooProhibit volunteers from using theirofficial position to secure privileges forthemselves or others; andProhibit volunteers from engaging inactivities that constitute a conflict ofinterest. Conflict of interest include, butare not limited to:programs. A questionnaire will be passed out toinmates to ascertain their attitude and progressin various programs.Record KeepingMaintain files of daily attendance, volunteers,and evaluations on all programs.• If you are pending criminal charges,have violent felony convictions,have been incarcerated within thelast year, or you are or were oncourt appointed probation or parolewithin the last year.• Persons currently employed asguards, private detectives, securityservices, or similar occupations.• Bail bondsmen or attorneysincluding employees working forthem.Quarterly EvaluationsThe Programs Services Director shall monitorquarterly evaluations for security, safety, andeffectiveness purposes to identify potentialproblems with programs, facility staff, programsservices staff, volunteers, and/or inmates.A Program Quarterly Evaluation Form shallbe passed out to facility staff (includingprograms services staff) and inmates toidentify potential problems with programsservices staff, facility staff, volunteers,inmates, and/or the programs that areoffered.The Programs Services Director shall reviewall Program Quarterly Evaluation Forms andmake referrals, modifications, and/orrecommendations as needed to improveprograms and/or correct staffing or volunteerproblems.Monitor Attitudes and ProgressConduct periodic interviews with inmates tomonitor their general attitude and progress inEstablish and update lists of programs andresources for facility staff and inmates.Establish and maintain an annual programsschedule.Prepare all necessary reports and recordspertaining to your area of responsibility.Policies and ProceduresUpdate the policies and procedures for facilityprograms on an as needed basis. Coordinatewith all staff in implementing new policy andprocedures.Study and Compare ProgramsStudy and compare the <strong>Monroe</strong> <strong>County</strong>Facilities' programs with other detentionfacilities’ programs. This shall include makingcontact with Programs Services Directors fromother counties to get updates on their programsand new ideas.Grant Related ProgramsAdminister all grant related programs; thisincludes responsibility of writing, coordinating,implementing, and evaluating programs toassure compliance and effectiveness.
