Social <strong>and</strong> environmental responsibility5.1 Have the supplier enterprises balanced their peat extraction by compensatoryconservation measures such as setting aside <strong>and</strong> preserving pristine <strong>mires</strong>5.2 Do the benefits <strong>of</strong> the supplier enterprises’ activities accrue to a large number <strong>of</strong>people <strong>and</strong> not a privileged few.
