Registration of Cases: Registration of a complaint lodged by the victim in case of a criminaloffence in the concerned Police Station.ii. Investigation of Crimes: The cases registered in the Police Stations are investigated andappropriate action taken against the accused. Intelligence & Counter Intelligence: Various types of intelligence is gathered and is passed onto concerned wings for taking action in Security related, socio-economic related matters.Liaison with Govt. of India and other organizations to tackle terrorism and other relatedissues.vii.
