Testing of the configured solution (CAS) and additional functionalities.6.3.3.1 Deployment of Core Application Software (State)As the initial step, the selected <strong>SI</strong> will be responsible for deployment of CAS (State) application as suchprovided by NCRB, MHA in the development environment for further studying the exact requirements ofthe State in consultation with Nagaland Police or its nominated agencies/ representatives and furthercustomizing the deployed CAS to meet the requirements of Nagaland Police. Such a deploymentexercise will be completely different from the deployment exercise to be carried out by the <strong>SI</strong> at the timeof Pilot Roll-out and Go-Live in Nagaland, however deployment at these stages would mean deploymentof customized CAS (State) in the State Data Centre for the application to be accessed by respectiveconcerned Police Units and other stakeholders.As part of deployment of CAS application, the <strong>SI</strong> shall procure, setup and maintain the required softwareand the infrastructure for systems testing, functional testing and User Acceptance Testing; and trainingactivities within State Headquarter premises; and for any other activities that may be carried out of StateHeadquarter premises such as issue management (Issue Tracker), document repository (configurationmanagement tool), etc.6.3.3.2 Conduct Closed Room PilotBased on all the requirement specifications finalized by System Integrator, the <strong>SI</strong> will conduct a ClosedRoom Pilot (CRP). The objective of the Closed room pilot is to receive feedback from groups of end userson the requirement specifications of the application; and on the proposed GUI design and navigationscheme of application in a Closed room setting. Based on the feedback, the <strong>SI</strong> would finalize therequirement specifications and design which shall be followed by customizing the CAS (State) asreceived by NCRB.Format of the CRPCRP Round – I, during which different user categories would assemble and test the Closed roomprototype. The <strong>SI</strong> shall interact closely with the user groups and gather detailed feedbackDuring the CRP, an exhaustive set of scenarios and associated GUI screens covering all thefunctionalities developed would be presented by <strong>SI</strong>The <strong>SI</strong> will analyze the feedback and incorporate applicable feedback into the requirementspecifications for CRP Round II.CRP Round – II, during which the original user group that participated in Round – I wouldreassemble to test the updated prototype. The <strong>SI</strong> shall once again interact closely with the usergroups and gather feedbackThe requirement specification documents and the GUI screens including navigation schemes areupdated based on the CRP feedback.<strong>Volume</strong> I Request for Proposal for Selection of System Integrator Page 52 of 193
