Rental HousingAbove: An example of rental housing in SummervilleAnother component of assessing the cost ofhousing in a community is in looking at howmuch renters are paying for their units. Rentersoccupy a mix of housing consumers, rangingfrom young professionals just out of college to alarge portion of the population working in theservice industries with lower than median pay,to seniors who have made the choice todownsize.
