Since 1999, Sculpture in the South provides visitors with the chance to interact and purchase sculpturesfrom leading sculptors from throughout the Southeastern US (more than 35 sculptors had exhibits in2010), and is held in mid May in and around Azalea Park. Proceeds from sculpture sales at the show areused for a Permanent Public Sculpture Program.
