<strong>Summerville</strong> Fire and RescueThe <strong>Summerville</strong> Fire and RescueDepartment is a combinationpaid/volunteer department. Thedepartment consists <strong>of</strong> 90 career and 43volunteer fire suppression personnel, withmany <strong>of</strong> the firemen being trainedEmergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s).Suppression personnel are divided into 3battalions working 24 hour and 15 minuteshifts.
