Additionally, through this program the EPA provides financialassistance to Tribes for chemical emergency planning, and community rightto‐knowprograms, which are established to prevent or eliminateunreasonable risk to the health and environment <strong>of</strong> communities within theState. Eligible applicants include States, Local agencies in the District <strong>of</strong>Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Island, Northern Mariana Islands, andFederally Recognized Indian Tribes. Recipients must match 25 percent <strong>of</strong> thegrant funds (including in‐kind services).
