Additionally, through this program the EPA provides financialassistance to Tribes for chemical emergency planning, and community rightto‐knowprograms, which are established to prevent or eliminateunreasonable risk to the health and environment of communities within theState. Eligible applicants include States, Local agencies in the District ofColumbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Island, Northern Mariana Islands, andFederally Recognized Indian Tribes. Recipients must match 25 percent of thegrant funds (including in‐kind services).
