ILIM<br />

Sets the application current limit, Allowing the user to limit the drive’s peak current. This variable limits the<br />

current comm<strong>and</strong> that will be accepted from the user (using the T comm<strong>and</strong> in Opmode 2) or issued by the<br />

control loops (in Opmodes 0, 1, 3, <strong>and</strong> 4). This variable is an independent variable that is not calculated from<br />

hardware parameters <strong>and</strong> is not tied to any other variables. ILIM is similar to VLIM (which is used in Opmodes<br />

0 <strong>and</strong> 1) <strong>and</strong> can be used to protect delicate load equipment.<br />

ILIM2<br />

This variable is used to define a new current limit value for INxMODE 8. This variable functions in similar<br />

fashion to ILIM if INxMODE = 8 <strong>and</strong> the corresponding INx input = 1.<br />

Firmware Versions: 3.1.0 <strong>and</strong> later Type: variable (R/W) Units: % of DIPEAK * 0.1<br />

Range: 0 to IMAX Default: 0.1 * IMAX EEPROM: Yes<br />

Opmodes: All Drive Status: EN/DIS<br />

ILSBMODE<br />

(Relevant for resolver feedback only.) Sets the mode of operation of the inter-LSB algorithm, which interpolates<br />

feedback between least significant bits (LSB’s) of the resolver. Enabling this algorithm will improve<br />

performance when the RDRES resolution is low (12 bits), BW is high, <strong>and</strong> the comm<strong>and</strong>ed velocity is low.<br />

ILSBMODE = 0; algorithm disabled<br />

ILSBMODE = 1; enabled for velocity feedback.<br />

ILSBMODE = 2; enabled for velocity <strong>and</strong> position feedback<br />

Range: 0, 1, 2 Default: 2 EEPROM: Yes<br />

IMAX<br />

Displays the system current maximum for a drive <strong>and</strong> motor combination. This variable is actually the<br />

minimum of the drive Peak Current (DIPEAK) <strong>and</strong> the Motor Peak Current (MIPEAK).<br />

Firmware Versions: All Type: variable (R) Units: % of DIPEAK *0.1<br />

Range: 0 to 1000 Default: min of DIPEAK & MIPEAK EEPROM: No<br />
